The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging is the premier center for breast health in the Piedmont Triad. Our outpatient diagnostic center provides state of the art technology paired with excellent patient care to serve your healthcare needs, all conveniently located on the fourth floor of the Professional Medical Center at 1002 North Church Street.

Our center offers a soothing, outpatient atmosphere and a friendly staff committed to your care and comfort. Our experienced technologists and physicians are leaders in their field in administering and reading mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and bone density scans. Our experience, plus a partnership with Greensboro Pathology allow us to perform breast biopsies of suspicious lesions and provide you with results the next day.

The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging opened in April 2001 on the first floor of the Professional Medical Center. Dr. Gilda Cardenosa, a world-renowned mammographer, was extremely instrumental in creating The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging. Her vision of a world class facility providing prompt, accurate diagnosis has provided tremendous benefits to patients in Greensboro and the Piedmont. The center moved to the fourth floor in June 2005 to larger offices.

When The Breast Center started, we performed 540 mammograms a month. Now we perform 1,800 mammograms a month, plus 400 ultrasounds, 100 DEXA scans and 100 interventional biopsies a month.

The Breast Center of Greensboro Imaging is one of three professional medical imaging centers that make up Diagnostic Radiology and Imaging, LLC – which is a joint venture between Moses Cone Health System and Greensboro Radiology Associates, formed in 1998. Our joint venture allows us to create a unique synergy with Moses Cone Health System and the sub-specialty trained radiologists of Greensboro Radiology.
