Stay Connected to Our Specialists on Facebook

Each month on our Facebook page, we provide fans with regular health tips, updates on our activities in the Triad and the opportunity to get to know our local radiologists. Our Specialist Spotlight features a selected GI radiologist or staff member once per month, which allows the community to become familiar with the compassionate and knowledgeable experts who provide cutting-edge care to our patients each day. The spotlight highlights the selected individual’s educational background as well as the array of services he or she provides, ranging from 3D Mammography to Virtual Colonoscopy. We also encourage our Facebook fans to submit questions for our specialists in our Ask the Experts posts. We strive to make our experts readily available to clear up confusion about the imaging process, provide reassurance and address any concerns our patients or potential patients may have. We’re here to help.

Our Facebook page also offers a Health Tip of the Week each Monday to encourage a healthy lifestyle and keep our fans in the know. Health tips vary from drinking matcha tea in place of caffeine to boost antioxidants and metabolism to eating avocado as a remedy for dry skin. In addition, we make our fans aware of national health observances and share photos whenever our staff or the community is showing their support. For example, our doctors and staff members wore blue on March 6 for National Dress in Blue Day, which helps to raise colon cancer awareness.

Every month, we have a health focus on Facebook that typically correlates with national health trends and observances. For example, May is Melanoma Detection and Prevention Month, so we’ll be providing UV safety tips and recommendations for skin cancer screening. We also feature a Health Advocate of the Month, which recognizes a doctor, celebrity or blogger for their contribution to the health and wellness industry. Check out our page for information on how you can become involved in various health movements as well as occasional research tidbits, industry news and inspirational quotes.
